Apprenticeship Program

Enrollment

Enrollment in our 4-year apprenticeship program is mandatory for unlicensed electricians. Apprentices are required to carry current cards certifying registration with the State. These cards are routinely checked by State Electrical Inspectors during site inspections.

Progress of each Apprentice is monitored and successful completion of the on-the-job-training and related-training and instruction in the classroom are required for apprentices to advance to the next level of compensation and responsibility. With satisfactory completion of the curriculum, classroom fees are reimbursed by Excel.
