Excel Electric, Inc. is a member of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), which is the body responsible for producing the National Electric Code (NEC). We have a written safety program designed to comply with MIOSHA guidelines and an excellent safety record.
Weekly Safety Meetings
Job foreman and lead electricians conduct weekly safety meetings on all project sites. Documentation of these weekly meetings is available to Customers or Construction Managers upon request.
Excel Electric Inc. also has a written hazard communication program and maintains MSDS documents on site and in our office for the materials our employees may come into contact with on our projects.
Protective Equipment
Excel Electric Inc. provides personal protective equipment to our employees including lock-out tag-out kits to every field employee. We provide uniforms and work gloves to all field employees. We also have Arc Flash suits available for use when required.
